Notes:
So since I have big hair, often, and my hats tend to be too small for big hair days, I set about making this one bigger. I still did the medium size, which was the right call because I think with all the bobbles, I wasn’t pulling quite as tight as i should have, resulting in a BIG hat. I also did an extra repeat of the the pattern repeat for the size I knit. That part I love. I think I’ll reblock without a balloon to encourage skrinkage 😉 and then wear it this winter and see what I think. It’s almost sloppy right now. And I have an inkling I will think it’s actually too big when wearing regularly. I’ll keep you posted.
Also note that this pattern is part of Carol’s 2021 Celtic Knits club, which means the pattern isn’t available outside the club right now (hence, no link). But when the club is over, she will release it generally, usually at end of this year or beginning of next. Her instructions are fabulous – I just didn’t want to yank tightly since i’m paranoid about hats that are too small.
